Gives the example of the Sistine chapel and virtual relative
spaces as being immersive media. Does it make a difference if something is
painted on the wall or if it’s a projection?
Zelinski wants to retain the possibility of the first moment
of inventiveness.

fiction – e.g. Da Vinci drew plans for machines that at the time seemed
impossible, yet were created several years later.
